The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) was integral to my academic and personal growth, providing me with a four-year bachelor's degree in Communication. Additionally, UTSA provided me with ample opportunities to gain practical experience through internships, research projects, and extracurricular activities. The rigorous academic curriculum at UTSA equipped me with a strong foundation in critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration, skills which have served me well in both my personal and professional endeavors.

Codeup

Codeup has played a vital role in fostering my passion for technology by providing me with comprehensive, hands-on technical training in full-stack software development. Through this program, I have gained expertise in modern web technologies, software engineering, computer science, and application architecture, while also gaining valuable project experience. Codeup has been instrumental in enhancing my critical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling me to approach the technological world with a new perspective.

A weather application utilizing MapBox API & OpenWeather API in order to provide the user with a 5-day forecast for any location.

Movie Database

An application that allows users to simply store the names, and information on their favorite movies in order to catalog and search through at a later time.

Keeper

An application based off of "Google Keep" which allows you to create, edit, and delete "post it" notes on the page.

Hi, I'm Matt Guardiola. After graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), I continued my education at Codeup, a software development bootcamp, where I deepened my knowledge of programming and software development.

I'm extremely passionate about software development and programming, and I'm driven by my desire to problem-solve and build efficient solutions to problems. I find the process of creating something out of nothing exhilarating, and I'm constantly seeking out new challenges to tackle. I'm particularly adept at working with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as back-end frameworks like Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.

Throughout my education and professional experience, I've consistently demonstrated my ability to work well under pressure and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner. I'm a natural team player who thrives in collaborative environments, and I'm always eager to learn from my peers and share my own knowledge and expertise.

When I'm not coding, I enjoy exploring new technologies and experimenting with different programming languages. I'm constantly learning and growing as a developer, and I'm excited to see where my passion for software development will take me in the future.
